Chandler’s Ford Parish Council – Award Winners

Representatives from Chandler’s Ford Parish Council recently attended the Hampshire Association of Local Councils (HALC) Annual General Meeting.
This event is always a valuable opportunity to hear about the excellent work taking place across the county and to stay informed on new initiatives and legislative updates.

It was particularly interesting to hear from Police and Crime Commissioner Donna Jones, who shared insights into the work Hampshire Police are undertaking around rural policing and road safety.

A highlight of the day was the HALC Annual Awards, where Chandler’s Ford Parish Council was delighted to receive the award for Commitment to Continuous Learning and Development. This recognition reflects the Council’s ongoing efforts to encourage training and professional growth among both councillors and staff.

We were also immensely proud that our Parish Clerk was named Clerk of the Year, recognising her outstanding dedication and contribution to the Council and the wider community.
